Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: June 18, 2025

Casino Days is fully committed to providing a safe, fair, and responsible gambling environment for all Players. Gambling is intended to be an enjoyable leisure activity; however, we recognise that for some individuals it can become a source of harm. This page outlines our responsible gaming principles, the tools available to help you stay in control, and support resources available to anyone in need. Please also review our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

1.1. Responsible Gaming as a Priority

Casino Days integrates responsible gambling practices throughout every aspect of our operations. Our commitment includes:

  • Providing easy-to-use tools that allow Players to set personal limits and take breaks;
  • Training our support staff to identify and respond to signs of problem gambling;
  • Ensuring that underage individuals cannot access the Platform;
  • Displaying prominent links to help resources across the Platform;
  • Never encouraging Players to chase losses or gamble beyond their means.

1.2. Gambling Should Be Entertainment

We believe gambling should always be:

  • Affordable — only ever gamble with money you can afford to lose;
  • Controlled — within pre-set time and budget limits;
  • Fun — approached as entertainment, not as a financial strategy.

If gambling stops being enjoyable and starts causing stress, financial difficulty, or harm to your personal life, it is time to seek help.

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

2.1. Warning Signs Checklist

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or income. Review the checklist below honestly. If you answer “yes” to three or more of these questions, we encourage you to use our Player Protection Tools or contact a support organisation:

  1. Do you spend more money or time gambling than you originally planned?
  2. Have you ever borrowed money or sold possessions to fund your gambling?
  3. Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down on gambling?
  4. Do you find yourself returning to gamble in order to win back money you have lost (“chasing losses”)?
  5. Has gambling caused significant conflict in your relationships with family or friends?
  6. Have you neglected work, school, or other responsibilities because of gambling?
  7. Do you lie to people close to you about how much time or money you spend gambling?
  8. Have you used gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems?
  9. Have you ever felt remorse or guilt after a gambling session?
  10. Have you tried to cut down on gambling and failed?

If any of these signs resonate with you, please reach out for support. Help is available and recovery is possible.

3. Player Protection Tools

3.1. Deposit Limits

You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits on your Account to control how much money you fund your Account with over a given period. Deposit limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases to deposit limits are subject to a cooling-off period of 24 hours before they become effective.

3.2. Loss Limits

Loss limits allow you to cap the total amount you can lose over a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your loss limit is reached, you will not be able to place further wagers until the limit period resets or the limit is adjusted. As with deposit limits, reductions are immediate while increases require a 24-hour review period.

3.3. Session Time Limits

You may set a maximum session duration to limit how long you play in a single sitting. Once your session limit is reached, you will receive a notification and be automatically logged out. This tool helps prevent extended, unplanned gambling sessions.

3.4. Reality Check Notifications

Casino Days can send you periodic pop-up reminders during gameplay showing how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered. You can set these reminders to appear at intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours.

3.5. Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period allows you to take a short break from gambling. Available cooling-off periods are:

  • 24 hours
  • 7 days
  • 30 days
  • 90 days

During a cooling-off period, you will not be able to log in to your Account or place wagers. Marketing communications will be suspended for the duration. You will not be able to cancel or reduce a cooling-off period once it is activated.

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal commitment to exclude yourself from the Platform for a defined period. This is a more serious and permanent measure than a cooling-off period. Self-exclusion options available at Casino Days include:

  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 2 years
  • 5 years
  • Permanent exclusion

Once self-exclusion is activated, your Account will be immediately suspended, all marketing communications will cease, and you will not be permitted to open a new Account during the exclusion period. To activate self-exclusion, contact us at support@osbbc.ca or use the self-exclusion tool in your Account settings.

Important: We strongly encourage Players who self-exclude with Casino Days to also register with national and provincial self-exclusion programmes for broader protection.

3.7. Account Closure

If you wish to close your Account for responsible gaming reasons, please contact support@osbbc.ca. Accounts closed for responsible gaming purposes may not be reopened before a mandatory review period has elapsed.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

4.1. Staying in Control

The following practical tips can help you maintain a healthy and balanced approach to gambling:

  • Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never gamble with money allocated to essential expenses such as rent, bills, or food;
  • Set a time limit before each session and stop when that time is reached, regardless of outcomes;
  • Accept that losses are part of gambling. The house always has an edge over time. Do not chase losses;
  • Never gamble under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or when emotionally distressed;
  • Take regular breaks during sessions and do not play for extended continuous periods;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not as a way to make money or solve financial problems;
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities. Avoid making gambling your sole source of entertainment;
  • Keep track of your gambling history using the account statement available in your Account settings.

5. Protection of Minors

5.1. Age Verification

Casino Days operates a strict minimum age policy of 18 years. We employ robust age verification procedures at the point of registration and during KYC checks. Any Account found to belong to an individual under the age of 18 will be immediately suspended, funds will be frozen, and any winnings generated will be forfeited.

5.2. Safeguarding Minors at Home

If you share a device or computer with minors, we strongly recommend you:

  • Log out of your Casino Days Account after every session;
  • Never save your login credentials on shared devices;
  • Install parental control and filtering software on shared devices.

The following parental control tools can help prevent minors from accessing gambling websites:

  • Net Nanny — www.netnanny.com
  • Cybersitter — www.cybersitter.com
  • GamBan — www.gamban.com
